Dismissed from work Registration service
The service is for registering job seekers in the compensation and unemployment support system, and it includes 1. Registration of dismissed persons in the compensation system. 2. Registration of the repeated claims for unemployment benefit 3. Request data from third parties. 4. Receiving reviewers and responding to their inquiries. 5. Study the cases of dismissal and entering them electronically. 6. Receive grievances from reviewers who wish to appeal against non-entitlement to benefit or compensation. 7. Giving introductory lectures related to the law of unemployment insurance.

    Conditions required for registering unemployment compensation:

    1. Excluded from insurance.

    2. The applicant should not left the job voluntarily.

    3. The applicant should not be retired.

    4. The applicant must not have a commercial record.

    5. The applicant must be registered as a job seeker with the Employment Department of the Ministry.

    Conditions for registering a recurring claim for unemployment benefit:

    1. The applicant should never worked or worked for less than 12 months and is excluded from insurance.

    2. The applicant should not be retired.

    3. The applicant must not have a commercial record.

    4. The applicant must be registered as a job seeker with the Employment Department of the Ministry.

  1. Start the eService, you can view the terms of applying for the service.

  2. Click on "Submit a new application" button.

  3. Enter your phone number and email account to proceed.

  4. Enter the verification code that will be received on your phone number.

  5. Enter your personal ID number.

  6. The system will verify the conformity of the service conditions on the applicant and will move to the next step. If one of the conditions does not apply, an alert message will appear with the reasons.

  7. Enter the reason for dismissal in the attachments.

  8. If the job seeker is a foreigner, the system will ask to attach the IBAN document. If the job seeker is a Bahraini, the system will only request approval of the IBAN that appears on the screen.

  9. You will be registered in the laid-off system upon completion.

    Fill out the eservice for registration to compensate for the unemployment / repeated claims for unemployment benefit and attach the following documents:

    1. Copy of valid passport.

    2. CPR and a valid copy of it.

    3. Recent photo.

    4. Copy of the certificate of completion of all graduation requirements.

    5. If the applicant was a university graduate or private universities or outside Bahrain, please attach the attestations.

    6. A statement of overall withdrawal from the university or school in case of school drop-out/ school leaving.

    7. Bank Account Number (IBAN).

Suspension of Unemployment Insurance compensation:

  1. Non-compliance with administrative instructions.

  2. Unwillingness to work.

  3. Not looking for work seriously.

  4. Not attending the training scheduled by the office.

Loss of right to claim compensation:

  1. Refusal to work after the Ministry has provided him/her with two suitable job opportunities.

  2. The beneficiary joins an insured job. The payment of unemployment compensation or aid shall be suspended from the date of his/her assumption of work.

  3. If an unemployed person carries out a commercial or professional work for his own account.

  4. If the unemployed person submits a claim for the payment of compensation or aid by fraud or fraud.

  5. If the unemployed person is entitled to a pension equal to or more than the amount of compensation or aid.

  6. إ If the unemployed person does not initiate a request to register his/her name with the office within three months from the date of the termination of the work relationship in the event of a claim for compensation and in the event of a claim for assistance within three months from the date of completing the prescribed training period.

  7. If the residency of the unemployed expat worker in the Kingdom becomes illegal in accordance with the laws and regulations in force.

  8. If the unemployed expat worker leaves the Kingdom permanently.
