Filing services related to the establishment of trade union organisations

Pursuant to Article No. (4) of the Trade Unions Law No. 33 of 2002, the papers of incorporation of trade union organisation shall be filed to acquire independent legal personality after ensuring that they do not violate the Trade Unions Law and the laws in force in the Kingdom. Trade union organisations are an organisation established to look after the interests of workers and defend their rights, including trade unions and trade unions.

    Conditionsforestablishingatradeunion:

    1. Workersinanyestablishment, or sector, or specificactivity, or industries,orcraftsthatare either similarorrelatedtoeachother,shallhavetherighttoestablishone,ormoretradeunionsoftheirowninaccordancewiththeprovisionsofLawNo. 33of2002onTradeUnions.
    2. Theestablishmentoftheunionshouldnotbeonasectarian, religious,orethnicbasis.
    3. Employeescoveredbythecivilserviceregulationsshallhavetherighttojointhem.
    4. ThenumberofmembersoftheGeneralAssembly (founders) shallbethreeormoreandthenumberofmembersshallbetenormore.
    5. Amemberofatradeunionmust:
    6. Tobeamongtheemployeesinrespectofwhomtheprovisionsofthislawapply.
    7. Theemployershouldnotbeintheestablishmentoroneoftheofficialsconcernedwithdrawingupitspolicytomakedecisionstherein.

Conditions for obtaining the service:

  1. Attachtheminutesoftheinauguralmeeting.
  2. Attachalistofthefounders' nameswiththeirsignatures.
  3. AttachcopiesofIDcards.
  4. AttachtheUnion'sArticlesofAssociation.
