On-The-Job Training (Furas) Service
An on-the-job vocational training program related to a profession or a number of specific professions in private sector institutions, through contracting between the employer and job seekers for training periods ranging from 6 months to 12 months. It is aimed at providing training opportunities for Bahraini youth in private sector companies and institutions, in order to develop their capabilities, enhance their skills and refine their experiences through on-the-job training, and work to increase the volume of youth efficiency. The program also aspires to build confidence through practical and applied skills that help the youth to build their future, prepare them to enter the labour market and make Bahraini youth the ideal choice for employment.

The applicant must be a Bahraini national.

To be of good conduct.

To pass the interview with the contracted company that will implement the said program.

To be registered in the Employment Services Office at the ministry as a job seeker, or one of the employment centers in the governorates.

The applicant must hold the required qualification that has been specified for this program.
