eGovernment Initiatives

The Ministry of Labour aims to develop technological mechanisms and means that use the state-of-the-art technology, communication network systems, and electronic digital connection of the Ministry portal’s systems in order to contribute to developing the e-Government project in the Kingdom of Bahrain. The importance of cooperation and taking the initiative with respect to the e-Government project is attributable to the development that can be witnessed in all current governmental activities, procedures and transactions, simplifying and qualitatively transferring them from the old frameworks to advanced electronic frameworks.

“The initiatives launched by the Ministry of Labor in the field of e-government contribute to providing distinct social services to the beneficiaries, and at the same time increase the efficiency of the ministry’s performance. The provision of the ministry’s services through the ministry’s portal site and the e-government site allows the provision of these services around the clock.

Quality Management

The quality management system (QMS) is deemed as one of the management systems, which concerns with the quality assurance of services provided to citizens and follows up job performance improvement through preparing an integrated system of total quality in all departments and services of the Ministry (quality management system in government institutions) and being awarded the international accreditation ISO9001: 2015. It also seeks to implement the concepts and systems of quality in the Ministry by instilling the concepts of perfection and excellence to make the principles of total quality a philosophy for all works in pursuit of outstanding performance, which overcomes the gaps and difficulties facing the actual implementation of the quality system in the Ministry.
